263 – Muḥammad ibn Yaḥyā ibn Abī Ḥātim al-Azdī and others narrated to me, from Saʿīd ibn ʿĀmir, from ʿAwn ibn Maʿmar, who said: Al-Ḥasan wrote to ʿUmar ibn ʿAbd al-ʿAzīz: “Peace be upon you. To proceed: it is as though, with respect to this world, you had never existed, and, with respect to the Hereafter, you will never cease to be.”
