255 – Isḥāq ibn Ismāʿīl narrated to me; he said: Sulaymān ibn al-Ḥakam ibn ʿĀwana narrated to us; he said: ʿUtba ibn Ḥumayd narrated to us, from someone who related to him, from Qubayṣa ibn Jābir, who said: ʿAli ibn Abī Ṭālib (may Allah honor his face) said, “Whoever renounces the world regards afflictions lightly, and whoever keeps death in sight hastens toward good deeds.”
