191 – ʿAbd Allāh narrated to us; he said: Ḥamzah ibn al-ʿAbbās narrated to me; he said: ʿAbdān ibn ʿUthmān narrated to us; he said: ʿAbd Allāh ibn al-Mubārak narrated to us; he said: Yaḥyā ibn Ayyūb informed me; he said: ʿAbd Allāh ibn Junādah al-Maʿāfirī narrated to me that Abū ʿAbd al-Raḥmān al-Ḥublī related to him, on the authority of ʿAbd Allāh ibn ʿAmr, that the Prophet ﷺ said:

“The world is the believer’s prison and the term of his sentence; when he leaves this world, he leaves the prison and the sentence behind.”
