182 – ʿAwn ibn Ibrāhīm narrated to me; he said: Aḥmad ibn Abī al-Ḥawārī narrated to me; he said: ʿUbādah Abū Marwān narrated to me; he said: Allah revealed ⦗88⦘ to Moses: “O Moses, what are you doing in the land of the wrongdoers? It is no home for you. Remove your concerns about it and turn away from it with your mind. How wretched an abode it is—except for one who works righteous deeds therein; for him it is an excellent abode. O Moses, I lie in wait for the oppressor until I exact for the oppressed his due from him.”
