173 – Muhammad ibn al-Husayn narrated to me; he said: Abu Ayyub al-Dimashqi narrated to me; he said: al-Sari ibn Yanʿum—one of the devoted worshippers of greater Syria—said: “How miserable is the one who loves the world! Do you love what Allah detests?”
