166 – Ibrāhīm ibn Saʿīd narrated to me; ʿAbd al-ʿAzīz al-Qurashī transmitted, saying: Sufyān reported that Jesus, son of Mary, said, “Just as fire and water cannot remain together in one vessel ⦗81⦘, so too love for the Hereafter and love for this world cannot coexist in the heart of a believer.”
