156 – ʿAwn ibn Ibrāhīm narrated to me: Aḥmad ibn Abī al-Ḥawārī told me, from ʿAbd al-Wāḥid, from ʿUthmān ibn ʿAṭāʾ, from his father, concerning the verse, “Indeed, We purified them with a special quality: remembrance of the Home” (Ṣād 46). He explained, “We purified them ⦗78⦘ by their remembrance of the Hereafter.”
