153 – Khalid narrated to us; he said: Hammad ibn Zayd narrated to us, from Mujalid, from Qays ibn Abi Hazim, from al-Mustawrid ibn Shaddad, who said: The Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “By the One in whose hand my soul rests, the portion of this world in comparison to the Hereafter is like a man who dips his finger into the sea—let him see what, if anything, adheres to it when he withdraws.”
