146 – Muḥammad ibn al-Ḥusayn narrated to me, saying: ⦗75⦘ al-Khalīl narrated to me from ʿUmar ibn Ibrāhīm, who said: I heard Mūsā al-Rāsibī report from Yazīd al-Aʿraj al-Shannī that he would often say to his companions:
“It should be enough for you to know that the Hereafter endures while this world disappears. By which of the two kinds of deeds—good or bad—have you secured the permanence of the two abodes? So stay with the abode that abides: if your work is good, then good will follow, and if it is evil, then evil.”
