142 – Hārūn narrated to us; he said: Sayyār narrated to us; he said: Jaʿfar narrated to us; he said: I heard Mālik ibn Dīnār say, “When the body falls ill, neither food, drink, sleep, nor rest will benefit it. In the same way, when the heart is gripped by love of this world, no admonition can penetrate it.”
