14 – Ḥamdūn ibn Saʿd al-Muʾaddib narrated to us; he said: al-Naḍr ibn Ismāʿīl narrated to us, from Mūsā al-Ṣaghīr, from ʿAmr ibn Murrah, from Abū Jaʿfar, who said: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, “How utterly astonishing—astonishing beyond all astonishment—is the person who believes in the Abode of Everlasting Life yet strives for the abode of deception.”
