Al-ZuhdIbn Abi al-Dunya

137 – Al-Hasan ibn Yahya ibn Kathir narrated to me. He said: Khuzaymah Abū Muhammad related to us:

The customary supplication of Bakr ibn ʿAbd Allah for any of his ⦗73⦘ brothers he met was to say: “May Allah grant us and you the detachment of one who, when the unlawful and sinful are within his reach in seclusion, remembers that Allah is watching him and therefore leaves them alone.”
