90 – Ismaʿil narrated to us; he said: ʿAli ibn ʿAbd Allah narrated to us, from Sufyan ibn ʿUyaynah. He said: “People asked ʿAbd Allah ibn ʿAbd al-ʿAziz about enjoining what is right: ‘Would you give a command to someone who will not accept it from you?’ He replied, ‘It will count as an excuse.’”
