63 – Ḥamzah ibn al-ʿAbbās narrated to me; he said: Wahb ibn Baqiyyah narrated to us; he said: ʿAbd Allāh ibn al-Mubārak informed us, from ʿAbd al-ʿAzīz ibn Abī Rawwād, who said:
“The people before you—whenever they noticed something blameworthy in their brother—would advise him gently, and they would be rewarded for both their enjoining and their forbidding. But one of these men today tears into his companion, hounds his brother, and rips away his veil of privacy.”
