62 – al-Ḥasan ibn Ḥammād al-Ḍabbī narrated to us; he said: al-Juʿfī narrated to us; he said:
“Ṭalḥa ibn Muṣarrif once passed by Ḥujr ibn Wāʾil, who was sitting at the door of his house. Ṭalḥa bent toward him, whispered something, and then continued on his way. Ḥujr thereupon said, ‘May Allah reward you with goodness,’ and he prayed for him. Then he asked those present, ‘Do you know what he just said?’ He explained, ‘He said to me, “I saw you during the Friday prayer turning your head—do not do that.”’”
