60 – Awn ibn Ibrahim narrated to me; he said: Ahmad ibn Abi al-Hawari narrated to me, from ʿAbd al-Rahman ibn Musarraf, who said: “Whenever al-Hasan ibn Hayy wished to counsel one of his brothers, he would write the admonition on a tablet and hand it to him.”
