5 – Abu Khaythama narrated to us; he said: Yahya ibn Saʿid al-Qattan narrated to us; he said: Saʿid related to us; he said: Abu Ishaq told me, from ʿUbayd Allah ibn Jarir, from his father Jarir, who said that the Prophet ﷺ said:

“Whenever sins are committed within a community by those who are the most influential and most numerous, and the rest fail to intervene, Allah will envelop them all in His punishment.”
