21 – Abu Khaythama reported to us; he said: Jarir ibn ʿAbd al-Ḥamid narrated to us, from al-Aʿmash, from Abu Waʾil Shaqiq, from Usama ibn Zayd, who said:

I heard the Messenger of Allah ﷺ say, “On the Day of Resurrection a man will be brought and flung into the Fire; his intestines will pour out, and he will revolve around them like a donkey turning a millstone. The inhabitants of Hell will be alarmed by him, gather around him, and say, ‘O so-and-so, what has happened to you? Were you not one who enjoined what is right and forbade what is wrong?’ He will reply, ‘Indeed, I used to enjoin what is right but did not practice it myself, and I forbade what is wrong yet persisted in it.’”
