58 – Al-Hasan narrated to us; ʿAmr b. Abī Salamah narrated, from Saʿīd b. ʿAbd al-ʿAzīz, from Ibn Ḥalbas, who said:

Jesus—peace be upon him—said, “Satan keeps company with this worldly life; his scheming works through wealth, his power to glamorize appears when whims arise, and his firm grip is secured when passions are stirred.”
