22 – Ibn Abī al-Dunyā said: “Al-Ḥusayn ibn al-Sakan narrated to me, Muʿallā ibn Asad narrated to us, ʿAdiyy ibn Abī ʿUmārah narrated to us, from Ziyād al-Numayrī, from Anas ibn Mālik, that the Messenger of Allah ﷺ said:

‘Indeed, Satan places his snout upon the heart of the child of Adam. If he remembers Allah, the devil slinks away; but if he forgets Allah, the devil clamps down on his heart.’”}
