1 – Husayn ibn ‘Ali ibn al-Aswad al-‘Ijli narrated to us; Abu Usamah narrated to us; Yazid ibn Sinan, Abu Farwah al-Ruhawi, narrated to us; Abu Munib al-Himsi narrated to us, from Yahya ibn Abi Kathir, from Abu Salamah ibn ‘Abd al-Rahman, from Abu’l-Darda, who said:
The Messenger of Allah (peace and blessings be upon him) said, “Allah, exalted is He, created the jinn in three kinds: a kind that are serpents, scorpions, and the earth’s creeping creatures; a kind that move like the wind through the air; and a kind upon whom there will be reckoning and punishment.”
١ - حَدَّثَنَا الْحُسَيْنُ بْنُ عَلِيِّ بْنِ الأَسْوَدِ الْعِجْلِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو أُسَامَةَ، حَدَّثَنَا يَزِيدُ بْنُ سِنَانٍ أَبُو فَرْوَةَ الرُّهَاوِيُّ، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو مُنِيبٍ الْحِمْصِيُّ، عَنْ يَحْيَى بْنِ أَبِي كَثِيرٍ، عَنْ أَبِي سَلَمَةَ بْنِ عَبْدِ الرَّحْمَنِ، عَنْ أَبِي الدَّرْدَاءِ قَالَ:
: قَالَ رَسُولُ اللَّهِ ﷺ: خَلَقَ اللَّهُ تَعَالَى الْجِنَّ ثلاثة أصناف: صنف حيات، وعقارب وخشاش الأرض، وصنف كالريح في الهواء، وصنف عَلَيْهِمُ الْحِسَابُ وَالْعِقَابُ.
