11 – Abu Bakr ibn Abi al-Dunya said: Muhammad ibn Idris narrated to us; ‘Isa ibn Abi Fatimah al-Razi narrated to us; Mu‘awiyah ibn Nufayl al-‘Ajli narrated:

“I was sitting with ‘Anbasah ibn Sa‘id, the judge of Rayy, when Thalabah ibn Suhayl came in. ‘Anbasah asked him, ‘What is the most astonishing thing you have ever seen?’ He replied, ‘I used to set out a drink during the pre-dawn hours; but when that time arrived I would return and find none of it left. So I put out another drink and recited Ya Sin over it. When the pre-dawn time came I went back and found it exactly as I had left it, while a blind devil was circling around the house.’”
