78 – Sālim ibn ʿAbd Allāh said:
The news of ʿUmar was slow in reaching Abū Mūsā, so he went to a woman who was possessed by a devil and asked her about him. She replied, “Wait until my devil comes.” When it arrived she questioned it about him, and it said, “I left him wrapped in a cloak, applying tar to the charity camels. No devil ever sees that man without collapsing on its snout before him; an angel is between his eyes, and the Holy Spirit speaks through his tongue.”
