66 – Ibn Abī al-Dunyā said: My father narrated to me; Abū Khālid al-Qurashī narrated to us, from Sufyān al-Thawrī, from a man, from ʿAṭāʾ ibn Yasār, who said:
Iblīs appeared to a man at the moment of death and said, “You have not escaped me yet.”
٦٦ - وَقَالَ ابْنُ أَبِي الدُّنْيَا: حَدَّثَنِي أَبِي، حَدَّثَنَا أَبُو خَالِدٍ الْقُرَشِيُّ، عَنْ سُفْيَانَ الثَّوْرِيِّ عَنْ رَجُلٍ، عَنْ عَطَاءِ بْنِ يَسَارٍ قَالَ:
: تَبَدَّى إِبْلِيسُ لِرَجُلٍ عِنْدَ الْمَوْتِ، فَقَالَ: مَا نَجَوْتَ مني بعد.
