62 – Ibn Abī al-Dunyā said: Bishr ibn al-Walīd narrated to us, ‘Uthmān ibn Maṭar narrated to us, from Thābit, from Anas, who said:

“The Messenger of Allah ﷺ was prostrating in Mecca when Iblīs (Satan) approached, intending to press his neck underfoot. Gabriel struck him with his wing, and before Iblīs’s feet could steady themselves he had been flung all the way to the Jordan.”
