and the divinely aided arbiter, the well-strung jewel, Mawlā Shaykhīzāda Muhammad, military judge of the lands of Rum. May Allah grant him the longest of lives, protect him from adversaries, fill his days with joys, make his endeavors worthy of gratitude, cause his words to be remembered with fair acclaim, and shower his courtyard with clouds of bounty, for as long as lightning gleams in the light and wind blows through the air. By the aid of Allah Most High, His gracious facilitation, and His gentle decree, the work was completed in the forenoon of an auspicious day whose advent shone brightly and whose trees put forth lovely foliage: the fifth day of the sacred month of Dhu al-Hijja, toward the close of the year 1144 of the Hijra of him to whom belong might and honor. May Allah bless our master Muhammad, his family, and his Companions, and grant them peace. Completed.”

This copy contains the complete work in four volumes. It is a poor copy that contributed nothing further to the text, except that it tipped the balance in favor of some variant readings. It was also used to fill lacunae found in certain manuscripts, such as (ص, the base manuscript, and ر). It has been assigned the siglum (ت 2).
The first folio of each volume bears the following endowment inscription:
“Endowed under the authority of the most august and felicitous Sultan, the most noble and magnificent Khāqān, the exponent of justice and beneficence and the one who clarifies obscure affairs through rectitude and discernment: Sultan son of Sultan, Sultan Abū al-Futūh wa-al-Maghāzī Mahmūd Khān ibn Sultan Mustafa Khān. May Allah make firm the foundations of his pure dynasty and perpetuate his sublime and resplendent charity. And I, the one in need of Him (Glorified and Exalted is He), am Mustafa Tāhir, Inspector of the Two Noble and Inviolable Sanctuaries—may He forgive him.”
Beneath it is the endower’s seal, and above it is another seal bearing the words:
