become mindful of Allah.” (Al-Aʿrāf 7:164)

Hence this book—“Refutation of the Jahmiyyah and Heretics,” by the Imam of the Sunnah, the venerable Aḥmad ibn Ḥanbal (may Allah brighten his face)—has been launched as an arrow shot at the throats of the heretics, the Jahmiyyah, and those who side with them. Our brother Ṣabrī ibn Salāmah Shāhīn has undertaken a rigorous scholarly verification of the text, supervising its preparation and presentation with great care. He has done well and excelled, so we ask You, O Allah, to reward him with the best recompense in this life and the next.

At Dār al-Thabāt we press on, offering good, guiding the confused with light, and providing them intellectual and spiritual sustenance through the works the house produces, publishes, and distributes. By Allah’s grace and favor we have already released a fine and beneficial set of Salafī books that serve as beacons along the path of our daʿwah and our work, including:

– ʿUmdat al-Aḥkām al-Ṣughrā (The Minor Compendium of Legal Rulings),
– ʿUmdat al-Aḥkām al-Kubrā (The Major Compendium of Legal Rulings),
– Fatāwā Ḥawla Baʿḍ al-Kutub (Legal Opinions Concerning Certain Books),
– Shubuhāt wa-Ishkālāt Ḥawla Baʿḍ al-Aḥādīth (Doubts and Objections Regarding Certain Hadiths).

In the pipeline are Mukhtaṣar Zād al-Maʿād (an abridgment of “Provision for the Hereafter”), Mukhtaṣar Sīrat al-Rasūl (may Allah bless him and grant him peace), and other valuable releases. We ask Allah, Mighty and Majestic, that these works gain the approval of readers, students of knowledge, and scholars alike, and that they count as beneficial knowledge and righteous deeds. This is what we hope and look forward to. Allah alone is the One sought, and He guides to the straight path.
