– “O you who believe! Respond to Allah and the Messenger when the Messenger calls you to that which gives you life. And know that Allah comes between a person and his heart, and that to Him you will be gathered.” (8:24)
– “Whoever obeys Allah and His Messenger, He will admit them to Gardens beneath which rivers flow, where they shall dwell forever—and that is the supreme triumph. But whoever disobeys Allah and His Messenger and transgresses His limits, He will cast him into a Fire wherein he will dwell forever, and for him is a humiliating punishment.” (4:13-14)
– “Have you not considered those who claim that they have believed in what was sent down to you and what was sent down before you, yet they desire to seek judgment from the false arbiter, although they were commanded to reject him? Satan only wishes to lead them far astray. When they are told, ‘Come to what Allah has revealed and to the Messenger,’ you see the hypocrites turn away from you completely.” (4:60-61)
– “The only statement of the believers, when they are summoned to Allah and His Messenger so that he may judge between them, is to say, ‘We hear and we obey.’ Such are the ones who will prosper.” (24:52)
– “Whatever Allah has turned over to His Messenger from the people of the towns is for Allah, the Messenger, his near relatives, the orphans, the needy, and the traveler, so that it may not circulate solely among the wealthy among you. So accept whatever the Messenger grants you, and abstain from whatever he forbids you. And be mindful of Allah; indeed Allah is severe in punishment.” (59:7)
