Then I passed by Moses, and Gabriel said, “This is Moses; greet him.” I greeted him, and he returned the greeting, saying, “Welcome to you, brother and prophet!” Another wording has: “righteous brother and righteous prophet.” (Aḥmad, Bukhārī)

When I moved on from him, he wept. He was asked, “What makes you weep?” He replied, “My Lord, this youth whom You have sent after me—more and better people from his community will enter Paradise than from mine.”
