Blowing into the ṣūr (Trumpet) and the swooning

The Noble Qur’an mentions the blowing into the Trumpet time and again, together with what will then transpire.

Shaykh al-Islam Ibn Taymiyya (may Allah have mercy on him) said: “The Qur’an speaks of three blasts. The first is the blast of terror, referred to in Sūrah al-Naml in His words: ‘And on the Day the Trumpet is blown, everyone in the heavens and everyone on earth will be seized with terror—except those whom Allah wills.’ ⦗1⦘
