The Emergence of the Dajjal

Al-Masih al-Dajjal (the false messiah), the arch-deceiver, the messiah of delusion—we seek refuge with Allah from his trial. The prophets, peace be upon them, warned their peoples of him, cautioned their nations against him, and laid out his features. Our Prophet Muhammad ﷺ warned about him even more emphatically, explaining his characteristics and portraying him to his community with descriptions that no person of insight could overlook.

Al-Tirmidhi records that he will arise from Khurasan.

And in Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim, on the authority of Anas (may Allah be pleased with him), in a report traced back to the Prophet: “The Dajjal will be followed by …”
