al-Ajwibah al-Nafiah an Asilat Lajnat Masjid al-JamiahNasir al-Din al-Albani
  1. Whoever enters the mosque before the adhan may perform unrestricted voluntary prayer, as many rakʿahs as he wishes.

  2. Intending a specific prayer between the prescribed adhan and the later, newly introduced adhan—the prayer they call the “pre-Jumuʿah Sunnah”—has no basis in the Sunnah, and not one of the Companions or leading scholars ever supported it.

This is the last of what I have been able to write in response to the submitted questions. I ask Allah, exalted is He, to make it purely for His noble Face, a means to attain everlasting bliss and deliverance from the torment of the Fire. Indeed, He is the Ever-Kind, the Most Merciful. Our final supplication is: all praise belongs to Allah, Lord of the worlds.
