73 – Performing the Zuhr prayer after the Friday prayer¹ (Al-Sunan 10, 123; Iṣlāḥ al-Masājid 49–53; al-Manār 23/259, 497, 34/120)
74 – Some women station themselves at the mosque door on Friday carrying an infant who is still crawling and unable to walk. They have tied a thread between the child’s two big toes, then ask the first worshipper leaving the mosque to cut it, claiming that two weeks after this procedure the child will stand and walk unaided.
75 – Certain individuals take up position at the entrance with a cup in hand
to your Lord.’ Al-Suyuti cites it in Dhayl al-Ahadith al-Mawduʿa and notes on p. 111: ‘Its chain contains Nahshal, and he is a liar.’
(1) Shaykh Mustafa al-Ghalayini authored a valuable tract on this point entitled al-Bidʿa fi Salat al-Zuhr baʿd al-Jumʿa (The Innovation of performing the Zuhr Prayer after Jumuʿa). It was serialized in the journal al-Manar—see 7:941–948 and 8:24–29—and may also have been issued later as a separate booklet.

٧٤ - قيام بعض النساء على باب المسجد يوم الجمعة تحمل ظفلا لها لا يزال يزحف ولا يمشي قد عقدت بين إبهامي رجليه بخيط ثم تطلب قطعه من أول خارج من المسجد يزعمن أن الطفل ينطلق ويمشي على رجليه بعد أسبوعين من هذه العملية

= ربكم" فقد أورد السيوطي في ذيل الأحاديث الموصوعة وقال ص ١١١:
فيه نهشل وهو كذاب.
١ وللشيخ مصطفى الغلاييني رسالة نافعة في هذه المسألة اسمها البدعة في صلاة الظهر بعد الجمعة نشرت في مجلة المنار على دفعات فانظر ٧/٩٤١ – ٩٤٨ و٨/٢٤ – ٢٩. ولعلها أفردت في رسالة مستقلة.
