49 – Neglecting the two-rakʿah prayer of greeting the mosque while the imam is delivering the Friday sermon. (al-Muḥallā by Ibn Ḥazm, 5/69)
50 – Some preachers interrupt their sermon to order a newcomer who has begun the greeting prayer to abandon it, in open contradiction to the Prophet’s ﷺ command to perform it.²
51 – Stripping the second sermon of exhortation, guidance, reminders, and encouragement, and devoting it exclusively to invoking blessings upon the Prophet ﷺ and to supplication. (al-Sunan, 56; Nūr al-Bayān fī al-Kashf ʿan Bidʿ Ākhir al-Zamān, 445)
52 – The preacher’s contrived raising of his voice when invoking blessings upon the Prophet ﷺ, making it louder than his usual tone throughout the rest of the sermon. (al-Bāʿith, 65)
