- What is recommended for the one who attends an invitation:
It is recommended for the invitee to observe two practices:
- After finishing, he should pray for the host with the supplications transmitted from the Prophet ﷺ; these come in several forms:
A. ʿAbd Allah ibn Busr reports that his father prepared food for the Prophet ﷺ and invited him, and he accepted. When the Prophet had finished eating, he said, “O Allah, forgive them, have mercy on them, and bless them in what You have provided for them.”⦗2⦘

٣٤- ما يستحب لمن حضر الدعوة:
ويستحب لمن حضر الدعوة أمران:
الأول: أن يدعو لصاحبها بعد الفراغ بما جاء عنه ﷺ وهو أنواع:
أ - عن عبد الله بن بسر أن أباه صنع للنبي ﷺ طعاما فدعاه فأجابه فلما فرغ من طعامه قال:
"اللهم اغفر لهم وارحمهم وبارك لهم فيما رزقتهم" ٢.
