He said: Saʿd then offered, “I will supply a ram,” and another man said, “I will contribute such-and-such an amount of barley.” In another wording: “A group from the Anṣār gathered several sāʿs of barley for him.”

As Ibn Hajar notes in Fath al-Bari 9:188, its isnad is “unobjectionable.” All the transmitters are reliable narrators used by Muslim except Abd al-Karim ibn Sulayt; several trustworthy scholars reported from him, Ibn Hibban listed him in al-Thiqat 2:183, and Ibn Hajar in Taqrib al-Tahdhib graded him “maqbul” (acceptable).
قال: فقال سعد علي كبش وقال فلان: علي كذا وكذا من ذرة. وفي الرواية الأخرى: "وجمع له رهط من الأنصار أصوعا ذرة".

ورجاله ثقات رجال مسلم غير عبد الكريم بن سليط وقد روى عنه جماعة من الثقات وأورده ابن حبان في "الثقات" ٢/١٨٣ وقال الحافظ في "التقريب:
"مقبول".
