until we thought he was angry with them. The two men then left, and on their way they met a person who was bringing a gift of milk to the Messenger of Allah ﷺ. The Prophet ﷺ dispatched someone after them and had them drink from it, so we realized that he was not upset with them.1

عليهما فخرجا فاستقبلتهما هدية من لبن إلى رسول الله ﷺ فبعث في آثارهما فسقاهما فظننا أنه لم يجد عليهما"١.
