- Performing ablution before sleeping while in a state of janabah (major ritual impurity)
The two spouses should not go to sleep while both are junub unless they have first performed ablution, and on this subject a number of hadiths have been narrated:
First: ʿĀʾishah, may Allah be pleased with her, said:
“Whenever the Messenger of Allah, peace and blessings be upon him, wished to [eat or] sleep while he was junub, he would wash his private part and perform ablution just as he did for prayer.” 1
Second: Ibn ʿUmar narrated:
“ʿUmar said, ‘O Messenger of Allah, may one of us go to sleep while he is…’”
—He thus implied that the Prophet’s statement, “Allah is worthier that one feel shy before Him,” should be taken as recommending what is better and more perfect, not in its outward sense that would make covering oneself obligatory. Al-Manawi writes: “The Shafi‘i jurists interpret it as merely recommended; Ibn Jurayj concurred and, in al-Athar, explained the report in the same way, saying, ‘Nothing of creation is hidden from Allah, whether people are naked or clothed.’” Al-Hafiz Ibn Hajar gives a similar interpretation in Fath al-Bari; see 1/307.

١٠- توضؤ الجنب قبل النوم:
ولا ينامان جنبين إلا إذا توضآ وفيه أحاديث:
الأول: عن عائشة ﵂ قالت:
"كان رسول الله ﷺ إذا أراد أن [يأكل أو] ينام وهو جنب غسل فرجه وتوضأ وضوءه للصلاة"١.
الثاني: عن ابن عمر ﵄:
"أن عمر قال: يا رسول الله! أينام أحدنا وهو
= فأشار في إلى أن قوله في الحديث: "الله أحق أن يستحيى منه" محمول على ما هو الأفضل والأكمل وليس على ظاهره المفيد للوجوب قال المناوي:
"وقد حمله الشافعية على الندب وممن وافقهم ابن جريج فأول الخبر في "الآثار" على الندب قال: لأن الله تعالى لا يغيب عنه شيء من خلقه عراة أو غير عراة"
