16
If a house is jointly owned by three men—one holding one half, the second one third, and the third one sixth—and the owner of the half sells his portion, then by right of pre-emption the holder of the one-sixth is entitled to one third of the share sold, while the holder of the one-third is entitled to the remaining two thirds. This is the rule in every analogous case. And Allah is the One who grants success.
