if their specifications differed, then he would have exceeded his mandate and becomes liable, for he has acted contrary to the limits set for him. Likewise, if he mixes two dissimilar kinds of grain—since partnership in such a mixture is impermissible—he is liable. And should he break the instructions for only some investors while complying with the rest, he is responsible solely for the share in which he violated their orders, not for the remainder.
