Chapter on the Liability of Hired Workers and Craftsmen

The bathhouse keeper is not held liable; nonetheless, when the case reaches final judgment he must swear—by Allah, there is no deity but Him—that he has neither betrayed, nor committed fraud, nor been negligent.
