all other merchandise to anyone other than the original seller, there is no objection to that, before you have taken possession of it—whether on the due date or earlier—for whatever price you choose: for the same currency you advanced, for a heavier weight, for a finer quality, for a lighter weight, or for an inferior quality.

All other merchandise to someone other than its seller may likewise be sold, before you have taken possession of it, whether at its appointed term or before it, for whatever price you wish—whether for the same currency you paid, for something heavier in weight, for something of better quality, for something lighter in weight, for something of inferior quality, or for whatever other merchandise you choose.

All of this applies to goods other than food and drink. As for edibles and beverages—whether condiments, staples, or fruit—nothing of them may be sold before possession has been taken and the goods fully received, neither to the original seller nor to anyone else, as has already been explained in the preceding chapters of this book.

…for something of inferior quality, or for whatever other merchandise you wish; and all of this applies to goods other than food and drink.
