Chapter: The Eclipse Prayer
The eclipse prayer is a confirmed sunnah, and its time corresponds to that of the two Eid prayers and the rain-seeking prayer.
Another opinion holds that its time runs from sunrise until the ʿAsr prayer, after which it is not performed.
A third view maintains that it may be offered from sunrise until sunset.
