Regarding the grandfather’s joint sharing: when full brothers and sisters and paternal brothers are present with the grandfather, the estate is apportioned equally among all of them, provided that the grandfather’s share does not fall below one-third. After the grandfather has taken his portion, the part initially assigned to the paternal brothers reverts to the full brothers and sisters. If no full siblings are present in this sharing with the grandfather, the paternal brothers and sisters take the place of the full brothers and sisters.
