4- I add: Other scholars have likewise graded it authentic, yet its soundness rests on corroborating chains alone, as I clarified in al-Ahādīth al-Ṣaḥīḥah, no. 922.

5- Ḥadith of Jarīr: He heard the Prophet ﷺ say, “Whoever shows no mercy to those on earth will be shown no mercy by Him who is in heaven.” All of its transmitters are reliable.

5- I add: Al-Ṭabarānī also recorded it, as I pointed out there.

6- Ḥadith of Anas: Zaynab bint Jaḥsh used to boast over the other wives of the Prophet ﷺ, saying, “Your families gave you in marriage, whereas Allah married me off from above seven heavens.” In another wording she would say, “Allah gave me in marriage in heaven.”

In yet a third wording she said to the Prophet ﷺ:
“The All-Merciful married me to you from above His Throne.”
This is an authentic ḥadith recorded by al-Bukhārī.

6- I add: In his Kitāb al-Tawḥīd, al-Bukhārī relates the first two wordings. Ibn Saʿd likewise cites them in al-Ṭabaqāt (8/103, 106). Al-Tirmidhī (2/210) records the first version and declares it “ḥasan ṣaḥīḥ.” Al-Nasāʾī (2/76) and Aḥmad (3/226) transmit the second, though both read, “from heaven,” which is also Ibn Saʿd’s wording.

As for the third wording, it too appears in al-Bukhārī’s Kitāb al-Tawḥīd, from another narration of Anas. Ibn Ḥajar cited it in Fatḥ al-Bārī (13/348) from the mursal of al-Shaʿbī, saying, “Al-Ṭabarī and Abū al-Qāsim al-Ṭaḥāwī also produced it in his book al-Ḥujjah wa-al-Tibyān.” It is likewise found in Tafsīr al-Ṭabarī (22/11) in a similar wording.

7- Ḥadith of Abū Saʿīd: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, “Will you not trust me, when I am the trustee of the One who is in heaven? News from heaven comes to me morning and evening.” Agreed upon.

8- Ḥadith of Abū Hurayrah: The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said, “By the One in whose hand is my soul, whenever a man calls his wife to his bed and she refuses, the One who is in heaven remains wrathful with her until her husband is pleased with her.” Recorded by Muslim.
