“Then We revealed to you: ‘Follow the faith of Abraham, who inclined to the truth and was not one of those who associated others with Allah.’”

He also said:

“That is Jesus, son of Mary—the word of truth about which they dispute.”

—up to His words:

“the witnessing of a tremendous Day.”

In Surah al-Anbiyā’, He said:

“We never sent a messenger before you without revealing to him: ‘There is no deity except Me, so worship Me.’”

After recounting their stories, He said:

“Indeed, this religion of yours is one religion, and I am your Lord, so worship Me.”

At its end, He said:

“Say, ‘It is only revealed to me that your God is One God. Will you then submit to Him?’”

In Surah al-Mu’minūn, He said:

“O messengers, eat of the good things and do righteous deeds. Indeed, I know well what you do.”

“Indeed, this religion of yours is one religion, and I am your Lord, so fear Me.”

“But they divided their religion among themselves into sects, each faction rejoicing in what it had.”

At the end of Surah al-Hajj—in which He mentioned the six religions, the rites and places of worship He appointed for them, and Abraham’s faith in particular—He said:

“Strive in Allah’s cause as you ought to strive. He has chosen you and has placed no hardship upon you in religion—the faith of your father Abraham. He named you Muslims before.”

He also said:

“He has ordained for you of religion what He enjoined upon Noah and that which We have revealed to you.”

—and so on to the end of the verse. He also said:

“Those who disbelieved among the People of the Scripture”

—up to His words:

“and that is the upright religion.”
