that is straight.”
“O you who believe, fear Allah as He should be feared, and do not die except as Muslims.”
“And hold firmly, all together, to the rope of Allah.”
Thus, we are commanded to hold fast to Allah’s rope, which is His Book, as the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace, said:
“This Quran is a rope stretched out, one end in Allah’s Hand and the other in your hands. Hold fast to it, for you will never go astray as long as you hold fast to it.”
In another hadith:
“It is Allah’s firm rope.”
Then Allah Most High said:
“And do not become divided. Remember Allah’s favor upon you: you were enemies, and He brought your hearts together, so that by His favor you became brothers.”
And so the verses continue.
Allah Most High also said:
“On the Day when We raise up in every community a witness against them from among themselves, We will bring you as a witness against these people. We have sent down to you the Book as a clarification of all things, a guidance, a mercy, and good tidings for Muslims.”
Allah Most High also said:
“It is not a fabricated account, but a confirmation of what came before it, a detailed explanation of all things, and a guidance and mercy for people who believe.”
Allah Most High also said:
“Alif Lām Mīm.”
“This is the Book about which there is no doubt, a guidance for those who fear Allah.”
He also said:
“This is a clear explanation for mankind, and a guidance and admonition for those who fear Allah.”
He also said:
“Indeed, when those who fear Allah are touched by a temptation from Satan, they remember, and at once they see clearly.”
“But their brothers draw them further into error and never relent.”
“When you do not bring them a sign, they say, ‘Why have you not produced one yourself?’ Say, ‘I only follow what is revealed to me from my Lord. This is enlightenment from your Lord, and a guidance and mercy for people who believe.’”
Allah Most High also said:
“We send down of the Quran that which is a healing and mercy for the believers
