They went astray only because they did not know the way of the Messenger—may Allah bless him and grant him peace—his Companions—may Allah be pleased with them—and those who followed them in righteousness. For Allah Most High sent His Messenger—may Allah bless him and grant him peace—with guidance and the religion of truth, to make it prevail over all religion. And sufficient is Allah as a witness.
وَإِنَّمَا ضَلُّوا لِعَدَمِ عِلْمِهِمْ بِمَا كَانَ عَلَيْهِ الرَّسُولُ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ وَأَصْحَابُهُ رَضِيَ اللَّهُ عَنْهُمْ وَالتَّابِعُونَ لَهُمْ بِإِحْسَانِ. فَإِنَّ اللَّهَ تَعَالَى أَرْسَلَ رَسُولَهُ صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ بِالْهُدَى وَدِينِ الْحَقِّ لِيُظْهِرَهُ عَلَى الدِّينِ كُلِّهِ وَكَفَى بِاَللَّهِ شَهِيدًا.
