As for what they relate:
“The Book of Allah is that for which you are most entitled to take payment.”
Yes, it is established that he said:
“The Book of Allah is that for which you are most entitled to take payment.”
However, this occurs in the hadith concerning healing through recitation, and the payment was for the recovery of the people’s sick companion, not for the recitation itself.
Is it forbidden to keep dovecotes if the pigeons fly out of them, land on people’s crops and eat the grain? Is keeping dovecotes in villages and towns forbidden for this reason? Yes, if it harms people, it must be prevented.
As for what they relate from the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace:
“Whoever wrongs a dhimmī (a non-Muslim under Muslim protection), Allah will be his adversary on the Day of Resurrection”—or, “I will be his adversary on the Day of Resurrection.”
This is weak. What is known to have been reported from him, however, is that he said:
“Whoever kills a person under a covenant of protection without right will not smell the fragrance of Paradise.”
As for what they relate from him:
“Whoever lights a lamp in a mosque, the angels and the bearers of the Throne will continue to seek forgiveness for him as long as that lamp illuminates the mosque.”
I know of no chain of transmission for this from the Prophet, may Allah bless him and grant him peace.
