The Book of Hadith

In the name of Allah, the Most Merciful, the Especially Merciful.

All praise belongs to Allah alone, and blessings and peace be upon him after whom there is no prophet.

A question submitted to the shaykh, may Allah have mercy on him.

The questioner said:

All praise belongs to Allah, Lord of all worlds.

O you who have mastered the science of hadith and transmitted … the practices of the Prophet, the chosen and elect,
You have become a steadfast mountain in Islam, … through which people find guidance, and are counted among the learned.
These questions have proved difficult; generously grant us … their explanation, O transmitters of reports.
For help in difficult matters is sought from those versed in them … as has been related in the transmitted reports.
[And yours is a reward like that of those who follow his Sunnah … when you are consulted, O people of insight.]
